Purchased this product (SSR-750FM) to replace a similar, failing PSU from Thermaltake. I was pleased with the simplicity of this PSU - fewer source cables - and its compact design, both of which made it easy to install. It also happens to look good while taking up less space and is quite efficient. No noise issues with this so far as I am using it face-down with air-intake, which seems to work well with this unit. Initial testing shows stability and reasonable values for voltage and temperature.The higher wattage allows some room to grow, plus it is most efficient at 50% load. Packaging was well done with nice accessories - bag, cover, cable ties, Velcro ties, sticker - including a thick-gauge power cable. Registration was relatively easy (check your spam folder). This PSU and its fully-modular sibling are both well-reviewed and well-regarded as being some of the best no-frills options on the market, and my experience so far completely supports those findings. If you want something simple that just works great, this is your best bet.

I manga to get my package in few days before the estimate time. As I set the power supply unit in to my mini ATX tower case, the space that my case provide is small. So with the ability to only install certain cords that my build requires, buys me extra rooms and air flow for un-needed cords that certain power supply that are full power supply comes with. This power supply is quiet, and saves me aloy from my power bill. i would recommend anyone to pick this power supply unit for their builds.

I purchased this PSU for a mid tier gaming PC. The build quality on this unit is excellent. I really like the modular design and the molex/sata power cables are flat ribbons. Nothing fancy, black cables with black connectors, but the molex connectors are nice in that they have an area you can squeeze to push a mated connector off with one hand. Packaging was nice. Foam padding with a cloth cover on the PSU. It also includes a cloth bag with draw string to keep your unused accessory cables stored in. It also came with nice assortment of zip-ties and Velcro straps for cable management.Overall I think this is an excellent PSU for the money. I will report back in the future if this changes.

Every satisfied with box presentation. Even comes with carrying case but this puppy most likely won't leave my case any time soon! Price per performance was unbearable on this model and works great in my new build! Semi-modular only makes it easier and cleaner to set up as you only use the cables you need. Definite recommendation all the way as you can't go wrong with Seasonic.

First system build in 6 years, I've been paying so little attention that modular PSUs were new to me. This one is semi-modular, but I'm super happy with it. I used 2 of the 3 attached cables for the motherboard, and then just needed one more for the drives. It made cable management SO much easier.The motherboard cables are long enough that in a mid-tower ATX case, it was easy to go out the bottom and behind the back plane to attach them. No stretching, no strain on the connectors. I only run one GPU, but the cable that has both connectors was easy to fold up and have a short, tidy connection.I'd recommend this, I'm pleased with how easy it was to get a clean build. I do think next time I'd go full modular just to get rid of the one last cable.

This power supply from Seasonic is affordable and efficient without being too large. I was very impressed by how much shorter it is than most of the other products on the market with it being 750 watts. It is also very efficient for the money that it costs. There is no doubt in my mind that it will pay for itself within a short time due to its higher efficiency. The only thing that can be criticized is the use of round cables on the non modular part of the 20+4 pin connector and flat cables for everything else. Other than that, this unit performs very well within its small footprint.

I needed a shorter (in length) 750 watt ATX power supply for a Mini-ITX build in a case that mounts the PSU across--too long and you can't install a full-length PCIe graphics card. This is a very streamlined build, so I need the smallest number of wires to deal with and the SSR-750FM fits the bill. I'll be able to power this rig with just the permanently attached cables on this model.If I had to pick something that could have been better, I wish Seasonic gave a more detailed description of either a) the cables permanently attached - ATX, CPU, and 1x 2-connector PCIe power on the 750 - or at least what individual modular cables were included so you could do the math and work it out. I was able to find a review that described the cable counts and what was/was not modular, so it all worked out in the end. Meets my need and I expect it to be a great, long-lasting power supply.
