Works great.
Easy to install, the unit is great, but I’ll probably end up changing the hand held to something a bit heavier.

Good radio
Ordered the used like new model for $82, got it in and the volume knob was broken. Ordered a replacement, got it today, and overall, it seems like a nicer, Quality, radio, than the first one I received. Got it rigged up, and it works like a charm, very nice radio for $82.I’m very nostalgic, and this radio reminds me of the one my grandfather had back in the 70’s. The mic is junk, so if you’re serious about this radio, get a better mic for it. Other than that, I’m very happy with my purchase.

Great time tested radio.
These Cobras have been around a long time. The swr function helps dial in the antenna. Seems to be built well and a good value.

Works great
Bought for my husband's dump truck so he could stay in contact with quarries and such. This CB works very well and has no static. Very clear sound, easy to use and great product overall.

Built in swr meter is junk.
Good radio but not as good as the old ones. Swr meter is not reliable. It showed me a low read on all channels but once I would get past channel 20 my warning light came on. First I thought faulty light but then I hooked up external meter and discovered high swr. I run a k35 antenna and found that I could not adjust it enough . so I started trimming the whip had to take almost a full inch off now it walks and talk's. So don't trust the built in meter.

There's still a use for CB
Easy to tune, needed to trim the steel whip it came with, but now I can talk crap with the truckers for miles. CB isn't dead... Yet.Good for warning other drivers of accidents or learning what's going on. Better than staring at a phone or GPS screen that takes your eyes off the road

selling junk with little return options available.
I purchased this CB to use on a RV trip. As I arranged for installation, it was clear that the unit did not work. I checked all of the settings and conferred with multiple veterans in the use of CBs. All agreed that the unit did not work. I went to set up a return and found that the return window closed after 30 days. This is unreasonable and causes me to discontinue buying from Amazon, period!!!!!!
