You can trust Fram! Change that air filter often!
My story... my old, but very low mile, Merc Sable wouldn't start all of a sudden. Until I cracked open the air intake and dowsed it with starter fluid. I drove it straight to the mechanic. After "diagnosing" the car for $80 he told me he didn't know what was wrong, but was "99% sure" I needed a new $700 fuel pump! I was getting a bad feeling and said "no thanks" and took the car home. Again it wouldn't start. Why did it only start when I opened the air cleaner? $9.99 for a new FRAM air filter later, and I thank FRAM for saving me $690 bucks!
