Great duty jacket
I purchased my5.11 jacket a week ago.I was familiar with the quality of the brand. I was more In pressed with the quality of the zippers .It seems to be wind and rain proof the attached hood was a bonus.it's a perfect all around jacket light but durable.Note that it is a waist length jacket .my only problem with the jacket is when taking it off the the interior liner sleeves come out. Maybe could of used some snap in buttons to hold in the inner sleeves in place . But in all fairness great duty jacket

The King of coats
A little pricey but definitely worth it! Literally a coat for everything Mother Nature can throw at you. Plenty of pockets and roomy enough to comfortably fit over the bulkiest ballistic vest.

Looks good, but lacks in functionality.
I work security for a company in Idaho. Last summer our employer issued these coats to our security force [over 200 officers]. Though the coat looks good, it doesn't function well. First,; it's not warm. We are constantly in and out of vehicles, working entry points, and responding to alarms. The coat is bulky and restricts movement. When I remove my coat the material on the sleeves (in liner) clings to my shirt sleeves causing the jacket sleeves to turn inside out. Also, the side zippers open easy on their own. My employer had good intentions to improve the appearance of our force. But in doing so picket a coat that was less than adequate for our needs. All those tat I talked too, including my supervisor, are unhappy with the coats, and prefer to wear our personnel coats, when we can get away with it.

Very practical its what its for. I bought the beown and blue i will take the black as well.
I go out a lot in Saudi Arabia, hiking camping hunting adventure trips , I have a couple of jackets like bear grils but this one is away far Better and by the way it's a great fit size wise, my only concern is the price I think this is a little bit pricey
