Very high quality saffron. The stamens are whole and strong. The aroma is wonderfully intense. The colour in cooking is warm and rich and bright. The tin was filled to the brim, though it contains much less now. I’m using saffron all the time. Recommended without reservation.

Unfortunately I don't have any experience with other brands of saffron, so I don't have anything to compare it against, but it tastes great whenever I'm making paella or kheer. Much cheaper than what I can get in the grocery store.

Just started my journey with saffron and so far I'm enjoying it. It's a very small tin but you don't need that much in your recipes so it's gonna last me a while.

Product arrived quickly, packaged well, best use by date of 12/2026, (18mo out), but I was surprised that the Country of Origin was Afghanistan.I thought is was from Spain?I will add a comment if I had any issue

This is the best of several saffron products I have tried on Amazon. I use it to flavor soups and it is important for me to easily crush the stems into powder with a spoon. Some other saffron was not dried quite enough and the stems stay intact regardless of how much I crush them - preventing them from quickly giving up their flavor. This is definitely "the good stuff".
