I looked over the available stands and ending up choosing this one because of both the look and extras included. I definitely made the right choice. It is very heavy and not some kind of cheap plastic. Since I am already a fan of brushed nickel it had the perfect decorative look for me. I must say that I am really clumsy and absent minded. I knew I had to have something to keep the pencil located in a certain place. Not only that I could already envision losing the cap on the floor and sucking it up with the vacuum. The place to store the cap was a big plus for me. Also I could relax knowing that they provide an extra pencil head with a way to attach it to the pencil. Since it seems I am always dropping something or knocking it off the table it is comforting knowing the pencil will not be rolling around. It is nice and heavy and the anti slide grip on the bottom keeps it from moving from where you put it. Nice also to have USB port to charge your tablet along with your pencil. As for the drawbacks I would recommend the company do two things. Please put a power light on the holder so that at least I know it is on. Seems strange to me to plug something in and not knowing it is getting juice. Another concern is does the power bank charger shut itself off once the pencil is fully charged. I know most chargers these days do but I would feel more secure knowing if it did or didn’t. These two details are more of suggestions than complaints and I don’t feel that they detract enough for not to recommend this pencil charger to others. Well designed, looks nice and does what it is supposed to do and then some!

When I first got this, I liked it. I liked the style and the weight. However, now, less than a month after receiving, it no longer charges my IPencil. If I put my IPencil in and jiggle it, it will charge for a bit, but once I let go, it stops charging. I think I'll cut the power cord and simply use it as a stand for my IPencil. Bottom line, this looks good, but in the end, it does not charge my Ipencil

Wow, this is the greatest little invention and I love it! I broke my first Apple Pencil while charging it by plugging it into my iPad Pro and I accidentally dropped it. I had to spend another $99.00 to get another one. I also lost the Pencil cap while charging the new one and had to buy a new cap. With this great device I can plug in my Pencil standing straight up and not sideways and there is a place in the device to put the cap in while charging. Then if that wasn’t good enough - you plug the base into an Apple charger and the device itself has a USB port that you can use to charge your iPad along with the Pencil. The design is so great and it works perfectly. If you use an Apple Pencil you need this!!

It should be noted more clearly that the charger does NOT include the pencil-charger-adapter that is pictured in the information. I misplace my original and mistakenly assumed the adapter shown in the pictures was included. The adapter is not required to use this charger and it so far works fine and looks very nice, however I am withholding one star due to the information not clearly indicating that the adapter is NOT included,

Amazing product. Quality made, weighted so it doesnt slide all around your desk and i love the extra port in the front! I can charge my beatsx the same same time as my apple pencil. Love having less cords to plug in and have hanging.EXCELLENT CUSTOMER SERVICE!! Quick response ti questions and very helpful!Im very pleased with thus product and company.

PROS:1. Metal – so sturdy and doesn’t topple over.2. Provided a lightening cable.3. While charging, the pencil’s cap can be stored in a slot so never misplace it.4. Can also leave in the pencil standing without charging, so never misplace it too!5. Works as stated.6. Compact7. Standalone charger for the pencil while charging iPad or Iphone simultaneously.8. It charges well and it has a pass through usb which can charge another device. It seems to be a fast charge as well the issue is there is no indicator that it is charging nor is there anything that says it is 100%. The only thing I can do is remove it from the charger,link it to my tablet and view the power. If it isn’t done then I need to put it back and wait. Kind of a pain.

Product never worked well in the first place, now it has completely failed. My suspicion is that there is an illegal MFI chip inside the "lightning" cable buried in the holder. Just guessing, but it sure is odd that the cable is permanently buried inside the housing. If I could swap out the cable, maybe I could get it to work. Not possible though.
