Ok for a winter forest jacket. Its unnecessarily bulky, also looks a little too tacti-cool. if you wanna look like a wannabe law enforcement or military person this is it.

Great jacket, the fabric is nice and soft.

Functionality equals many deep pockets, Two zippers that enclose jacket up to your chin, a roomie hoodie with a stiff brim to protect face from vertical falling rain or snow, ability to synch tight around the waist and several Velcro tabs for attaching temporary items. In extreme cold this jacket would be considered an additional layer. I purchased this for Southern California winter beach photography excursions and upon examination believe I made the correct choice.

Bought a medium… it was loose fitting, which is good. Can wear a sweater under it and be comfortable.
