On the photo, this mug looks like an average white mug you'd get at Crate and Barrel or World Market. One might think why does it cost almost 20 bucks? I've been a fan of Villeroy and Boch design and decided to order it after suffering series of disappointments with mugs at other stores. The problem with C&B and many other stores is that their white color frequently has unattractive grey shade.This mug has a very nice creamy white color. I also can't quite describe what makes it more attractive but there is some subtlety of shape that shows exactly why "simplicity is ultimate elegance". It's very pleasant to hold and to look at. The lines are clean, the weight is perfect. I also measured the volume and found it exactly as stated (10 oz fits with room to spare). If you're looking for a casual but elegant coffee/tea mug that can also go into microwave and dishwasher, look no further.

Molto soddisfatta. Le mug sono arrivate in tempo di record perfettamente imballate - Villeroy & Boch è sempre garanzia di eleganza, classe e ottima qualità: il sopraffino ha sempre un prezzo. In questo caso, lo ritengo un buon investimento sul bello da vedere, toccare e utilizzare. Capienza perfetta, ossia rispetto al dichiarato, sono 250ml che diventano 300 se riempito fino all'orlo. Sulla durabilità non mi posso pronunciare, ma il marchio la vanta nella mia esperienza pregressa. Conto sulla ulteriore conferma. Acquisto purtroppo limitato a soli 3 pezzi. Ho chiamato per sapere come poterne acquistare altri: semplicemente attendendo una settimana. Peccato V &B non li abbia prodotti anche in colore nero o antracite.
