Poor frequency response to phono. no blue tooth
I put the cd input for my phono preamp and it works but no base response and poor highs. There is no treble and bass controls. The first time I connected to blue tooth and response was good then after that I never could connect to blue tooth again, looks like the blue tooth circuit blew out. I got this mainly for phono input.

Very nice but no Tone controls
First, I am not a audiophile or hifi expert, but, I like music and I know what sounds good. I really like this A3 amp but it does have couple of drawbacks. First is that there are no tone (treble/bass) controls on the unit or with the remote control. Second is that the (hard to find 6P16A/12J1S) tubes are difficult to find (have to contact Nobsound/Douk) in China to get them. There may be substitutes but I haven’t been able to find yet – I would like backups. These are the two primary drawbacks – not a deal breaker (yet), we’ll see. But it is terribly inconvenient to have to get up to change tone control on streaming device equalizer for some styles and songs and not possible at all on usb, cd or sd card music. Also there is a quiet hum in the speakers when volume up and no media playing. Though not heard at all when playing, so not a thing for me.I have a very simple set up, all of my music is played through a Marantz PMD 526c, that’s streamed from tablet, or directly from usb, sd card or CD. This amp runs my JBL L96s just fine so overall, Im very happy with the amp. The sound is big, full and clear and it gets pretty loud for what it is. It looks good and has good build quality. It seems strange to me that the two mini tube amps that I purchased prior to this (which work great by the way and under 100 bucks), a pyle 20 and aiyima t9pro, both have tone controls and this A3 does not, the pyle has knobs and the aiyima is in the remote. I also tried a pyle 80 which would be nice if not for the extremely loud fan, had to return it. I have to say that if the A3 didn’t sound as good as it does, I would probably send it back because of no tone control.I don’t know if there is something that I can put in between to control tone so I’m still little on the fence with this – however, I must say that the A3 handles the transition from different styles and song types pretty well so maybe not quite the nuisance to be deal breaker. In closing I would say this is a very nice amp given the small bucks to get into the tube amp world. Just know that the above drawbacks exist and perhaps nobsound/douk will fix the remote control tone issue in near future.Enjoy…Update: Well, after several days of “trying” to love this amp, I’m sending it back. The lack of any tone control left me unable to personalize or shape the music at all. Then there is the hum that finally got to me. After a lot of process of elimination I found that any iteration of my two mini amps, PMD, CD and tablet, usb or sd cards did not have any hum in speakers. As soon as “anything” is plugged into the stand alone A3 the hum started. In fairness, stand alone with no connections other than Bluetooth it was fine. Being new to this I figured more tubes, bigger trans and box would translate to much better sound, hmmm…I am back with my original basic system and I have to say that the Aiyima t9 Pro sounds much better than the A3. And with the tone control at remote fingertips, I found myself listen with pleasure all day – had to tear myself away to write this update. As soon as I get my credit I’m buying another one before they decide to “improve” it and screw it all up…My apologies for going so long – happy listening.

Awesome Sound
I am using this to drive KLH Model 3s and this little amp kicks. Clear mids and highs and punchy bass. Using Wiim mini as an EQ. 👌🏻
