Printer lasted 6 months
Printer lasted 6 months and mother board went bad. Brother will not replace it because it was purchased on Amazon Marketplace. We are a small office dependent on our printer for billing and receipts. Luckily, we purchased the warranty plan from Asurion who overrode Brother and will repair it at no cost to us. In the meantime, we will have to purchase another printer locally so we can continue business.

Brother has deteriortted so MUCH don't buy don't buy
I have been buying Brother MFCs for decades, but this model that I just bought is terrible, The print quality is the worst in the industry, the toner I bought for it, leaking on the paper, horrible, I called Brother, music on hold, we call you latter, never happened. Brother has declined in quality and now it is not better than a printer made of wood with a rubber band for an engine. Get a Cannon instead. Cheaper better quality and no errors. I am making this post so that Brother takes responsibility for selling garbage and not supporting their products. Very frustrated customer, will be throwing this printer in the garbage and gettin a Cannon

not sustainable
The printer does the job. It prints quickly. The color is okay, not brilliant. BUT, I've had the printer less than a year and already spent $940 on genuine replacement toner. From what I've seen in reviews Brother makes sure any non-Brother toner will not work, so I won't be buying any more Brother products.
