BlackBerry 10 Z30 16GB 4G Black - smartphones (Single SIM, BlackBerry OS, EDGE, GPRS, GSM, HSPA, UMTS, LTE, Bar)

I bought this phone because I like Blackberry hub and like this particular model. I was impressed when I found this on Amazon as it is 8 years old. When the phone arrived it was refurbished and looked great as if it were new. I will definitely buy another refurbished phone again as I am not concerned with having the latest phone - just want to be comfortable and familiar!

I’ve owned Blackberry Smart analogue Mobiles for years starting with the Bold, the Curve, the Z10 and finally upgrading to the Z30. Whilst Blackberry were waiting to upgrade yet again they were caught up and overtaken by the iPhones of Amazon, Samsung and others. I eventually moved to iPhones as it appeared that Blackberry were being held up for reasons only they knew about. The last Blackberry I owned was the Z30 which was introduced in 2013 when it made its long awaited appearance but reluctantly I sold it on when purchasing various iPhones. After a year I decided to purchase another Z30 as a back up to the iPhone. There are some new ones still on offer and are holding their prices but not prepared to pay the asking price so looking hard and deep and questioning the various sellers found my perfect Blackberry Z30 for the price I wanted to pay. I missed my old Z30. The build quality was and still is superb, it feels and looks like an expensive phone in fact the Blackberry Z30 retailed at over £200 when first introduced expensive at the time. So far advanced smart phone, it was and still is a joy to handle, its beautifully crafted using high quality materials feels perfect in the hand. The battery life is very good, the graphics top class and without doubt the built on querty keyboard is the best on the mobile market with predictive type. But such a pity Blackberry took so long to get the Z30 to market. If you are looking for an analogue mobile for a backup or just want a quality built mobile without the all singing & dancing apps connected to iPhones then think about the Z30 but study hard, ask lots of questions to the seller make sure it’s unlocked & sim free and ensure the used Blackberry Z30 comes with a generous warranty, of course you can purchase a new one. It’s a beautiful mobile that sadly arrived too late. I love it.

It’s performance is good. A gesture-based system of BB10 is great. As I wanted this phone for using at home; as for radio, music player, and web browser, it’s perfect with very big screen and really nice stereo speakers. However, even though it comes with original box, its charger is not suitable for the UK, it is a 2-pin plug, and it has a bit scratch on the back, too.
