It is a bit clicky so you might wake your partner up if you're playing in bed
Its phenomenal for the price. Works perfectly on xbox game pass remote play. Syncs perfectly. There are power buttons on both sides of the controller FYI. For 23 quid it's ideal

Quick to set up and easy to use
Great device easy to set up and use, companion app not the greatest in the aspect of information on battery life but other than that great device

Does Not fit Pixel 8 Pro
It will fit in, IF you are able to add a small felt pad alongside the camera bump, so that the clamp (which Barely fits over the lip of the phone due to the camera bump adding height), But, The lower edge of your phone will Not sit properly into the lip provided. As a result the phone is Barely stably held in the clamps. The right clamp is fine, it is the left that needs redsigning to incorporate todays phones. This is somewhat odd, given that this is a very recent product, you would have thought that they would have considered camera bumps into the equation and come up with a solution; the Backbone One has with their 2nd generation. It is a real shame, as I did manage to try it out (whilst having the phone no more than a few inches above my game pad), and it worked well. Paired quickly and easily with no issues, seemed to work just fine within Talos when trying it out. It Even worked on windows seamlessly when I switched across from one screen to another using Steam Link. This seems such a shame as the product itself shows great promise! It is let down by modern phone compatability issues, which should never have been there to begin with, given how modern this is.

A decent bit of kit
I like this little controller, it took a little getting used to, but I'm getting there with it, it's not a bad option.I'll start with the cons. They are all fairly minor:When the two halves are separated, if you want to hold them together, the magnets really aren't enough to keep them stable, but you're better clipping them on either side of your phone.I personally don't like that the right thumb stick is perfectly in line with the ABXY buttons, I would prefer the buttons to be slightly offset to the right. (I've hit B when I meant to hit A more than a few times), but that's a learning curve that I'll adapt to and anyone playing with it would. On some phones the camera unit will mean the gripping sections of the controller halves won't fit flush against the phone, but it's still pretty secure, just don't go wildly jesticulating when someone beats you on a game.As for the Pros:For the price it's very good and the controls are responsive with most of the games I've played. It's quick, simple and easy to connect to your phone and seems to have a pretty good battery so far.The lightweight and foldable design makes it very easy to carry, and it comes with a little protective drawstring bag.I like the aesthetic of the black & teal model. The ergonomic shaping of the back portions does mean it fits comfortably in the hand, though it could benefit from a little grippy silicone or scored texturing to keep it snug.I will note that for some games you need a good enough internet connection and/or a high-RAM phone (for dedicated gamers companies are already recommending 16GB RAM, most current streamed games will struggle with 4GB RAM or less); processing lag when trying to play "Rainbow Six Siege" via "Xbox Cloud Gaming" is not a fault of this controller... and let's just say I won't try it on this phone again. For the money it is a good bit of kit, worth grabbing if you're interested in phone gaming.

Doesn't work on all games
Got this for my son who games a lot and he said while he really likes it and it's really comfortable to use it doesn't work on the mobile games he really wants it to be used withGames like fortnite and call of duty and roblox for example don't seem to work with it but mine craft does since all these games have an option to use a controller on a mobile phone you would think it would be compatible especially being a big brand

Buy THIS don't buy others - used on an S23 ULTRA
Firstly the reviews when you look at them are not all for the ATOM.The controller comes in a nicely presented box and looks smart. Using Turtle Beach headsets for years and having no issues I was expecting this to be very similar in reliability. It does not disapoint. The controller inside the packaging comes in a neat little branded turtle beach cloth bag. A nice touch but doesn't serve much purpose other than protection from scratches. This is a 2 part controller that charges via USB C and does not offer connectivity via hard connection - Bluetooth only. The controller packs away to an oversized wallet size little bit to big to go in a pocket but perfect to go into a backpack. The controller splits and attaches to the mobile device via a clamp in system. You will possibly struggle with any other case other than a thin silicone type. But if you don't mind dropping the device out of its case its a much better experience, it feels nice and snug once clamped in.Once connected the first part of the controller pairs with the second and works impressively well.I have tested this using the Xbox remote play and other than graphics being slightly worse (nothing to do with the ATOM) most games are very playable and enjoyable as much as if you were using the TV. It's nice to use if you fancy a quick game but don't fancy going into the room where your console is or if your out and about.
