Really helpful for winter. Keeps face and ears warm and it’s lightweight. Covers full face and is very comfortable.

Warm, perfect fit. Looks cute too. Very soft material (better than the one with no fur) Great for taking walks outside or shoveling snow in the winter.

Working Security, in FRIGID temperatures: It's very difficult to keep on my uniform (because of how bulky and thick that it is, I am not taking any stars away from it; that's just how it is, very good quality mask in my opinion), however VERY easy to wear and open the mask to reveal yourself to others or when you just need some fresh air also. This mask is great as a standalone when the temperatures get around -20 or so Fahrenheit; yet also very easy to layer with for additional comfort if you're not a fan of the cold, but have to work out in it. For a big guy, I love it; it's extremely comfortable, and also extremely warm if it's not below zero; even eliminating the need for 'heated' vests when this mask allows you to recycle your 'exhale' back into your thermals to replenish your thermals with warm air if the mask is sealed up yet STILL remain incredibly easy to breathe through.

This balaclava was requested as a Christmas gift for a friend. She lives in New England, as do I, and does a lot of dog-walking--even during the cold snowy winters. She hasn't tested it yet, so I can only give it 4 stars, but it's well priced, the fleece fabric is lightweight but cozy, and the fit, which is adjustable, seems perfect.

I was out walking my dog with this on in 15°F. It kept my face from being cold. Even though I was breathing thru the fleece, I didn't feel it getting all wet. I will say, I needed my hood over the top of it, it's not a warm hat, but, the furry trim and the fleece nose covering kept my face warm. At 15° that is a big plus.The neck is long enough to stay inside a zipped up jacket with a stand up collar.

I like the size, I have a BIG head and it fits well with another winter hat inside. I like the material. It is warm, soft, and breathable. The neck is a good length.I do not like the drawstring. The pictures don't show what is really going on with it. It doesn't just tighten the mask, it also tightens the hood with the same string.The way it's routed around makes the string that sits on your nose higher on one side than the other. It also enters the hood at different depths on either side. This makes it very uneven, bunched up, and uncomfortable. It would be a much better design to have the mask and hood tighten seperately.I thought I wouldn't mind the adjusters on the outside, but after tightening them there is a lot of extra string sticking out and it's annoying.I ended up just removing the string entirely and it worked great. The mask sits on the nose fine without it. 3.5 stars.
