The spool tolerences are off. The Worx 184 trimmer is unable to advance the trim line with the shaft button feed. Must use the button on the reel holder and then pull the line to advance forward. Spool hangs up.Transferred the line to a used Worx spool. Then it worked well. Line is very good, spool was not proper.I will not return item. I'll deal with reloading on a proper spool. I will not reorder item.

For starters the replacement spools do not operate like the original that came with trimmer. None of them feed the line so I have to wind the new line on the original spool. The next issue is this line doesn’t hold up when trimming along cement walkways etc. truly a waste of money. After spending $100 on the trimmer I’m regretting my entire purchase with this.

Like the product for the price.

My old cap had worn through because of contact with macadam over the last year and a half. This restored my spool unit to like new condition! AND I have a couple of extras. If I don't forget where I put them I am all set for the next couple of years.

It doesn’t seem to work in my 40 V trimmer. It is supposed to fit, and it does fit. However it doesn’t dispense any line. I had to take all the line off the new one and wind it up on the original spool Perhaps there’s a little something wrong with this particular spool and I’ll find out when I have to change it again. But I was not happy with it today.
