Loved this one..The video quality is way better than expected. Night vision has limit but works great.Overall a very satisfactory buy.

I was not able to use it as planned. I had a reflection back to the camera because of the magnified glass in the peephole. The picture on TV screen was a bright glare. OK! I found a better use at the bottom of door. Door thresh hold is black & wide & camera is black & very small. Camera is at bottom of door in corner. Just enough room to close door with no interference. My door is "in side" building & opens to a long hall with 13 other doors. Working just fine. Very good picture on TV. Senior building no one can hear or see very well. If it does not heat up since the hall has air movement I will order another for the other direction. This one is pointed toward the elevator. I know someone was standing at my door around 3AM, could see feet & called police. They had left through stair exit at end of hall. Not brave or stupid to open door. This will give me a complete view. OK!! I have been using 24/7 for a full 7 days & not one problem. The jerk that pounded on my door at 3:AM had a surprise when the police showed him the footage I put on a thumb drive. No explaining that away. Gave office manager a copy of incident report & video. I have 2nd one & it works great pointed in other direction & just ordered the 3rd one.

I live in an apartment so I needed a front door camera that I could use without drilling. I purchased this camera to replace my front door peephole. It was the only camera I could find on Amazon that was small enough to fit in the hole. I had to remove the peephole but it works.While I can give it two stars for fit the camera itself became defective within a few months of installation.It is not a color camera exactly. The picture is more like the black & white photos that show the color red. A very faded red & green shading maybe. Mostly black and white though.While I could live with that the camera began to lose connection and flicker. It would stop transmitting the signal and the yellow connection would have to be fixed constantly.The camera REQUIRES a BNC Female to RCA Male adapter also. I had to wait to install the camera while I ordered one. I tried different brands and the problem remained.Today the yellow cable broke completely when I tried to exchange the adapter again. I believe this was the cause of all of the problems I had with the color & connectivity. (see picture)I'm going to try and purchase again and also a second type and I will update later.So my recommendation is if you are like me and need a front door/peephole camera then this would work. I'm not convinced of the quality though but for the price it's not a terrible deal.I also would like to see them include an adapter or atleast prominently inform customers that one is needed.

If you're looking for a spy camera that you can plug into a television or recording device via RCA cables, this is a very good option. I think it goes without saying that you should not expect high quality video with this spy camera. The video quality was very grainy, however at close range of 2-4 feet away, the video quality is acceptable. This is generally true of all spy cameras. So I think this spy camera is a good choice for those who want to hook up to an external television or recorder. It does get very hot immediately after plugging into the 12 volt power supply, so I'm not sure if the heat will shorten its life span.

Works great so far. Easy to install too. I got this hooked up to a DVR with no issues. Just make sure to get an adapter to hook up into the DNC (I didn’t realize this until I got the package, but thankfully the DNC cables I bought came with adapters included, so I got lucky.)I am using this to monitor the front of my apartment door as someone/s has been messing with my doorknob at night and the building hallways have no CCTV. So I took matters into my own hands.I needed something discreet as to not attract attention and to avoid neighbors feeling weird about it.Obviously the image quality is not the best given it’s size and MP capacity, but it’s still good enough to clearly capture faces of anyone stepping in front of my door.Can’t say anything about night mode as my hallway is fully lit up 24/7 (maybe next time we have a black out I’ll be able to test out night mode)
